The story begins in October and Grandpa and Grandma Travlslot, Bill and Agnes, are going to their winter time retreat near Brownsville, Texas. Traves was asked to go with them and so his interests and views of America are expanded again.
In this, his third adventure, at the age of fourteen, Traves has a very unique confrontation. It is within himself where he finds some of life's mysteries. But they are the ones every boy of fourteen seeks. Come join Traves as he finds out he is not alone into this big world he was born into.
