Gaining Spiritual Life."
The final book to the Chapters of Life series.
In the book, “Gaining Spiritual Life” there is 60 letters of inspiration. This is the final book to the Chapters of Life Series. All three books; ‘The Chapters of Life, Concepts of Life, and now, Gaining Spiritual Life’ came as a set of books which can, if sought, bring a new meaning to being closer to God.
It all began in 2004 and is being completed now in 2007. It reminded this author of being like the three in one. A set of books which can put positive meaning into everyday life for anyone. No matter which book is read first, they all work together in unison. The 170 letters to the Chapters Series is divided into a 60-50-60 set of letters using the New International Bible.
Thought, by this author, at first to be a set of devotionals. And then were brought out to be letters of inspiration. When the titles to each letter came to me, I first thought they were an inspirational set of lessons to teach a Sunday School class. Then as they continued, I realized God had a very unique outline of messages to open my eyes to servant hood and to share His Word in a progressively deeper lifestyle. As the books became a reality so did the letters grow deeper and more thought provoking into His Word.
With a design to be easy for a New Convert to understand God’s ways, the Chapters of Life Series will also make the seasoned Believer draw deeper into God’s everlasting love. With faith in God, the love of Jesus, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, “Gaining Spiritual Life” will bring the final episode of this series to a life changing beginning. To realize the events in one’s life and then see that the hand of God has always been near them, is in itself another set of letters. Hopefully these letters of inspiration will allow the reader, just as it did the author, see just where God has been in their lives.

"Gaining Spiritual Life"
Daryl Worcester has written his third and final book in the Chapter of Life Series. His new book is titled Gaining Spiritual Life and it is a compilation of sixty letters Written as Daryl was led by God, through each and every letter, dealing with different aspects of our spiritual development. To strengthen us in the Word, to renew our faith when we are tried, and to be able to ward off the wiles of Satan when he tempts God's children. It is a book of love and encouragement and full of spiritual enlightenment that will uplift the reader and help them to grow in their spiritual life. In that enlightenment we will know the closer we live in God's Word the closer God is to us. And God gives us the assurety that when we die we will have gained that spiritual life to dwell with Him forever. It will be a book that you will want to read over and over again. The letters are so easily understood and so relevant to our lives in today's world. I truly recommend this book for all Christians and those wanting to know more about, "Gaining Spiritual Life."

Have you ever been in a situation where you have given it your all and still failed? Something you knew you could do, but no matter how hard you try nothing works. Eventually you realize it was not your thing in the first place, but the Lord’s. Soon after all your failings you come to a point of surrender and find yourself at the cross with your face full of tears crying out, “I’m sorry Lord, please forgive me!”
A broken marriage, a torn love, a destroyed family, hurt, hurt, hurt, hurt, hurt! A Jesus thing? YES! If only we would go to the Cross in the first place. Sometimes though, we do not get the answer we desire. Where do we turn now? To the Cross of Calvary still? YES! It is a Jesus thing.
I cannot imagine how the Lord felt when time after time He tried to get the saints, or the people, to believe in Him. He did miracles in hundreds of lives and still went to Calvary. He poured out His heart at the Garden of Gethsemane for His soul and ours, but still the same result. Calvary! His was not an act of self-reliance but an act of Godly trust. A trust we posses in our hearts and lives, if we would let go of self, and open up to the Lord our real beliefs. A Jesus thing. YES!
We need to just humble ourselves before the Living God, as Jesus did, and seek His will for our lives, as Jesus did. Do you think Jesus cared about His situation after the Lord told Him He was to finish His destiny? I believe not because Jesus’ words to the Father in Matthew 26:42 were: “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may Your will be done.”Jesus did the ultimate sacrifice, He gave His all. He was obedient to the desires of God for all creation. Ours may not be for all mankind, but to us they may mean everything we are in life. I believe God knows this and perceives everything we need beyond our understanding. We can look at Job here. He had it all, lost it all. Gave His all, and regained it all back with interest. A Jesus thing? YES!
Was he any different than us? No! He was a man just as we are. God just used him for an example for us. A perfect example was Job, yes? Then what about Jesus? Was He a more perfect example? YES!
Jesus gave us His life and He received the right hand side to the Throne of God. We also can give our all, even to the point of death, and will inherit a place in the Kingdom of God. We will become heirs and co-heirs with Christ. To live forever with no more sorrow and pain. No more tears and agony. Our hearts will be full of joy forever and our lives will have friends surrounding us for all eternity. Because we did, a Jesus thing, here on earth does not mean we will see the results here. Hebrews 11 is the faith chapter in the Bible. Many mentioned there did not receive their dues on earth or in their lives. Yet history was changed through their beliefs in God. A Jesus thing? YES!
Jesus is not so much concerned about what you are going through as to where you are going with it. Are you, when you are down on your knees crying for your desires or for God’s desires? Who are you trying to please, your heart or His. Do you see what I am saying? Yes we hurt and yes God knows we hurt, but it is a Jesus thing to not hurt God. We cannot go before the Lord God continually with our lives only to return to the death traps of Satan. If we want to see never ending results then we must have never ending love and trust in Him. We must purify our lives once and for all through the Blood of Jesus and then keep it that way. To be more like Jesus? YES!
