Gaining Spiritual Life

The final book to the Chapters Series Books.

My Guardian Angel Is God
Letter 37

To God be the glory for the great things He has done. He has saved us through the blood of Jesus. He has given us life eternal through Jesus. He has given us knowledge through His Holy Spirit. He grants us our hearts desires in His timing which is the perfect timing. He clothes us, feeds us, and gives us shelter. He lets us know He is near when we are alone and He gives us space when we want to try to impress Him with our own abilities, which He gave us in the first place. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and Last, the Beginning and the End. He is the God of our hearts and lives. And He is the only Living God. His name is Yahweh and Jehovah. He has but one only Begotten Son and His Spirit is constantly upon the face of the earth counseling the Saints.

David in the Psalms quoted about the Lord of Hosts many wonderful times. In Psalms 97:9-12 it is written, “For You, O Lord, are the Most high over all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods. Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise His holy name.”
And then in Psalms100:3, “Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.”

Guardian Angels are wonderful, but God is great. He is the one who sends the angels to keep check on our lives, but it is the Lord who makes the changes through our prayers. Jesus is always interceding for the Saints, but it is God who answers the prayers according to His will for each and everyone of us. God knows every hair on every head.(Matthew 10:30) He knows of our coming and our goings. (Proverbs15:3) No one is left out. You see, everything we do is going to be revealed.( Job 12:22) Our time is running short and we, as the people of God, must make everything right with God, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In the book, “Gaining Spiritual Life” there are 60 letters of inspiration. This is the final book to the Chapters of Life Series. All three books; 'The Chapters of Life, Concepts of Life, and now, Gaining Spiritual Life’ came as a set of books which can, if sought, bring a new meaning to being closer to God.
It all began in 2004 and is being completed now in 2007. It reminded this author of being like the three in one.  A set of books which can put  positive  meaning into everyday life for anyone.  No matter which  book is read first, they all work together in unison. The 170 letters to the Chapters Series  is divided into a 60-50-60 set of letters using the New International Bible.
Thought, by this author, at  first  to be a set of devotionals.  And then were brought out to be letters of inspiration.  When the titles to each letter came to me, I  first  thought they were an inspirational  set of lessons to teach a Sunday School class. Then as they continued, I realized God had a very unique outline of messages to open my eyes to servanthood and to share His  Word in a progressively deeper lifestyle.  As the books became a reality, so did the letters grow deeper and more thought provoking into His Word.
With a design to be easy for a New Convert to understand God’s ways, the Chapters of Life Series will also make the  seasoned  Believer draw deeper into God’s everlasting love. With faith in God, the love of Jesus, and the inspiration of the  Holy Spirit, “GainingSpiritual Life” will bring the final episode of this series to a life changing beginning.  To realize the eventsi n one’s life and then see that the hand of God  has always been  near them, is in itself another set of letters.  Hopefully these letters ofi nspiration will allow the reader, just as it did the author, see just where God has been in their lives.

"GainingSpiritual Life" gives examples of everyday living. Therefore, the reader can relate to many of the situations described in this book. The author also provides answers or direction from the Word of God. The "letters" are encouraging and beneficial to them that seek a closer relationship with the Lord. In many of his letters, the author uses personal experiences, conveying that which he has learned. Throughout the book, he openly expresses himself; no hidden corners or shady areas. You will find some real treasures in this last book of "the Chapters of Life" series. The sixty letters are gently written, and in such a way that one does not need a degree to grasp their meaning. The "letters" are enjoyable to read and could well be used as a devotional book.

Philippians4:4-7 quotes, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again:Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Now that’s what I’m talkingabout! Peace on earth with a good conscience. My heart and mind under the watchful eyes of God through our Lord Jesus. To be at peace in all we do because our ultimate Guardian is looking out for our well being. Giving us His Holy Spirit as our guide and counselor. And Jesus and our hope to glory. The only part left is our obedience to Him. Can we do it?

I have come to the conclusion that the deeper we draw into the Word of God, the deeper He draws into us. The knowledge we gain through His Word constantly rejuvenates our lives. We become battle weary in our flesh and then one small mention of the Word and our power is restored. Like through a good praise song, which comes into our hearts, we can find a new peace we cannot help but share with someone else. Every day is a new day and with the letters of inspiration from this series of books—The Chapters of Life (ISBN #1-4137-3414-6), Concepts of Life (ISBN #1-4137-5993-9), and Gaining Spiritual Life (ISBN #1-4241-6950-X)—I’ve been inspired to write 180 letters which have been written for edification of the church. Together, we can all grow in our knowledge and understanding of God and His will for our lives.

In Gaining Spiritual Life, there are sixty letters of inspiration. This is the final book to the Chapters of Life series. All three books bring a new meaning to being closer to God.
